From the first
pencil strokes
The challenge was to give a familiar restaurant name a distinctive voice. Hand-drawn explorations of أبو روني tested the movement, connections and balance of the Arabic letters.
The selected direction was then refined as vector artwork, retaining the warmth of the sketches while bringing clarity to the final mark.
Arabic leads.
Latin supports.
The Arabic wordmark carries the character of the name. The Latin signature sits beneath it, giving the restaurant a clear bilingual presence without competing with the primary lettering.
Letter spacing, alignment and proportions were refined together. Colour and monochrome versions give the same mark different ways to work.
Forest Green leads the Arabic wordmark; Warm Khaki supports the Latin name. Cream is a presentation background, not a third logo colour.

Photographs of the entrance and interior show the approved mark in use. They document the logo’s adoption; the original commission did not include interior design or signage production.
Exploring
everyday applications
Cup and kraft-bag mockups explore the mark on smaller, tactile formats. These are presentation concepts, not photographs of manufactured packaging.
